Who doesn't love peanut butter and chocolate? Seriously?! Those kind of people exist?! Well, I'm a big fan of the combination and
these amazing brownies did not disappoint. You can use whatever brownie recipe (or box) you chose, but it's really the frosting that makes this dessert absolutely rich and to die for. Don't leave out the salt - it really does make a difference.
6 Tablespoons (3/4 stick) softened butter
¾ cup peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
pinch salt
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (like Maldon), for sprinkling on top
Cream the butter and the peanut butter until combined. Slowly stir in the powdered sugar and pinch of salt until completely incorporated. Spread over cooled brownies. Sprinkle the sea salt all over top.
